いやぁ、遂に出ましたねぇ。『Need for Speed Carbon』Windowsデモ版。先にXbox 360版（日本では未配信）が、そしてこの度Windows（AU）版も公開されたが、まだ公式サイト（アメリカ、オーストラリアいずれも）の方では公開されていないので、フライングなのか？
それはともかく、デモ版を実際にプレイしてみると、今回は再び夜の街が舞台という事で『Need for Speed Underground 2』に戻ってきた感じ。とはいえ様々な新要素が勿論入っているが、それは各々調べて頂くとして（手抜き）。
海外ではXbox 360、Xbox、Windows、PlayStation 3、PlayStation 2、GameCube、携帯機でNintendo DS、GameBoy Advance、PlayStation Portable、mobile（携帯電話？）とある意味驚異的なマルチプラットフォームで発売されるが、日本では現在Xbox 360、Windows、PlayStation 2のみ発売予定。Windows版もXbox 360版どちらも前作よりも重くなっているので、パソコンのスペックに自身が無い人はXbox 360版の方がオススメ。まぁ一応PlayStation 2版もあるけど……やっぱり興味のある方はコレを機にXbox 360を是非。
